Golden Bear Bitters are flavored with herbs we grow on our farm in Carmel Valley. We use a process called whole plant maceration to develop three classic bitters flavors; aromatic, citrus, and herbal. Fresh herbs go from harvest to batch in 24 hours where they macerate for up two months on average in a non-GMO organic cane spirit. Our bittering agent, organic dandelion root, is sourced direct from Serendipity Organic Farms, and combined with certified organic gentian root. Citrus is sourced direct from a grower family specializing in citrus for the last 30 years - certified organic Country Flat Farm in Big Sur.
