Aromatic and pure, our California herbal bitters are made from three ingredient sources: native herbs indigenous to the coast, fruits and citrus grown on small specialty farms, and other herbs and flowers suited to the growing region at our homestead garden in Carmel Valley (Cachagua), California. Golden Bear Bitters garden is nestled between the Big Sur coast and the Santa Lucia Highlands. All of our plant based ingredients are infused and extracted in their most vibrant state -- fresh and in whole plant form. Added to 5 gallon glass containers the same day as harvest where they macerate for up two months on average. The bitter herbs used in our recipes are dandelion, cardoon, yarrow and gentian. These plants are known to support digestion and good health.
